After a successful 2019 season, with 3 national records and my first jumps above 4m50, all eyes are now on the upcoming Olympic year.
In 2020, a major upgrade will be made to my trainings : I'll be able to join the Dutch Olympic Training Center in Papendal which means that I'll see my coach 5 times a week (instead of 1-2 last year).
Together to Tokyo
During the month of November, I'll be launching a 30 days crowdfunding action.
I'm raising money to be able to prepare for the upcoming Olympic games in Tokyo.
Every Euro donated will be spent with the unique aim of jumping higher : going on training camps, paying for accommodation and access to training facilities on regular basis, paying my coache's salary and medical costs.
Fanny is a Belgian pole vaulter, born and raised in Germany.
After a gymnastics carreer, she needed some change and decided to try out athletics. She made her first pole vault steps at the age of 20 and quickly raised to reach the national top-level, becoming Belgian champion only 2 years later. This title was quickly followed by 14 others and by 12 new national records ! In 2013, after graduating as a Doctor (University of Liège), she took bronze at the World University Games in Kazan (RUS) and silver at the Francophone Games in Nice (FRA).
After those international honours and beeing selected 5 times to represent Belgium at the European Team Championships, once at the European Championships (Amsterdam 2016), twice at the World Championships (London 2017 & Doha 2019) time has now come to raise the bar to the ultimate level : Tokyo 2020′ Olympics !
